Found some silver

It's been a few months since I have been able to hunt silver.
Well, Saturday I went to my CU to deposit a check and the branch manager said that there was some halves in the coin machine if I wanted them.
YES YES YES
The bag had $664.00 in it.
I have done really well with the bags off of this machine.
This time not great but it is the first silver I have found in a few months.

all machines are quarantined-- re-rolling has been my only way to dump. no halves 'cause I won't dump where I eat, but cents , nics & qtrs are still on my menu-- I do an "exchange" for a sealed box

I have found 2 silver proofs while CRH. A 1970-S and a 1976-S.

Tweakers, kids stealing their dad's coin collection or widows that don't care about their deceased husband's coin collection come to mind!

A LOT of people have no clue and just don't care about coins or silver.
I had a woman give me silver change at a store I frequent once. I asked her if she had any kids, she said yes.
I told her she should save the coins for them. She said naaa you can have them.
She found a few more in the register and gave me those too.
Can only lead a horse to water, right?
