Found some stuff in the back yard

Bought my first home so in between the reno I grabbed out the detector for a quick pass ...

Found the coins on the surface after the rain...
The sinker and tool below the surface... the good ol detector still works!

I found a dog bowl too... about 10inchs down, the dog is suppose to be buried with it... he wasn't around.

Thanks for the kind words, during the reno I've been searching for caches, I've been in the roof and under the house... nothing yet!

It was fantastic to get the metal detector out for a hunt... the previous owner was an old man with a bit of character! so hopefully there some treasures to be found

man I don't want to find the dog, ewww apparently there are two of em, really mean buggers too.

I'm using a cheapie one I bought at target for 70 bucks, saving up for an ace
Kinda embrassing swinging a toy but its better then a dowsing rod lol (why are my ears burning haha)

There is nothing to be ashamed of the MD you are using. Your finding things aren't you? And those are nice finds BTW. As long as that "toy" is letting you find, and have fun, those are the important things. So keep swinging.
