My morning hunt was a bust ! Searching for a foundation a deer hunter told me about ! Never found it or anything
A long hike along a pretty river so all was not lost ! Noon Time came though and I was skunked ! I Grabbed some lunch and decided to head back to the park that used to have the British Garrison on it ! Glad I did> I hit a sweet spot in the field That started turning up deep buttons and then a copper
On my next two passes I picked up two more coppers . One being farthing or Half cent size ! A couple more buttons the Ox Hame Knob , and the cool little lock ! A few others and I found my first coin in a bezel ! I thought for sure it would be a silver but it was one year off being a 1965 ! The Conn. copper though not in good shape was only my third state copper my first two being Mass. Coppers ! So I am pretty stoked up with this hunt ! Thanks for looking and happy treasure hunting to all ! MaineRelic
