Well, Santa by himself is a Thomas Nast print. He was a famous political cartoonist/caricaturist for Harper's Weekly. The first one is the cover of the January 3, 1863 issue and is also signed by Nast, though it's harder to see in the bottom left below the soldiers foot and newspaper. I'd say it's a safe bet that they were probably cut out of an old Harper's Weekly. Nast actually created the modern day version of Santa Claus as we have come to know him today.
