very nice find congrats HH

WOW.. You found a fluted Clovis point and waited a month to post it? Congrats on the find of a lifetime, its a killer for sure. Thanks for the view.

Thats an awesome piece. Thanks fir sharing

You must of shared that some place before you posted it here. A month ago found and it being Clovis. Looks perfect. Congrats on that one, rock

Man if I had found that, I would not have to post it everyone would have heard me yell, great find:notworthy:

Yes, both sides, and yes, I posted it on another forum, a day after the find, but I have taken many photos of my finds since. Been extremely slow here with no rain, high heat, and multiplying algae and weeds. This is from SW Indiana, BTW. Just shy of 3". Thanks for the comments.

Its mighty fine

I know you don't need to be told how awesome that find is. I just want to say Thanks for sharing. sixeight

Story......if I remember correctly, it was the 3rd to last gravel bar, on a new section of creek, of my honey hole creek. Found 10 points within a 1 mile stretch, four of which were together within feet of each other. It was 3 feet from the upstream portion of the gravel bar with fresh gravel, and you could see the base and tip, but the midsection had a rock on it, and it didn't dawn on me until I started to bend down, and sure enough, a real dandy. Found a 3/4 grooved adze there 2 weeks later. Found a few paleo-ish knives in the creek, and another clovis was found a week later by an acquaintance, for a trade of hunts. Hopefully I'll have me some mastodon in my pocket by the end of the year. There will be more good, really good stuff to come out of it, as I do believe I found a virgin spot, in a sea of madness (creek hunters galore) in this whole region.

I do not blame you for being hesitant to post. The way our laws have gotten, it's best to keep some things to ourselves. It's a shame, but it's true. Nice nice find

I wasn't hesitant, just didn't. Get into too many bickering contests on here, and just don't have time to post all my finds. I like to find em and molest them, more than taking their picture, and posting them up.
