found this arrowhead today while metal detecting a cornfield

I know absolutely nothing about Indian artifacts can someone give me some info on this please?
It was found today while I was detecting a cornfield.

Nice find. It's an Adena point.Apprx.(700B.C. to 300A.D.).

You would probably find more projectile points out in that cornfield--you just got to walk the rows and pick up anything that looks out of place. Wish I was there to help.

Unfotunatly it appears to have a fracture. The value on most broken points is small. It does however retain much study value and of course will always retain it's value as a memory of a great find.
