Found this at a site dating late 1600's early 1700's

I found this awhile back ,not sure exactly what it is ,it measures exactly 4 inches in length and goes from 1/2 inch down to a 1/4 inch made of steel with a hole in one end . And also a peice of a steel with a design on it appears to have be a arrowhead and some other markings not sure what it is either I was thinking maybe belt buckle ,its 1/8 of a inch thick and about 2 inches long but it appears to be broken in two and made of steel . Any Idea's or possibilities ?

Not a clue. Whatever it was there's not enough if it left for me to ID, but I'm the world's worse guesser. Monty
