Found this bullet

I found this bullet at a old campsite back in the woods. Does anybody know possibly what year it's from and maybe the gun. It says on it R.R 30. O6 sprg. I was thinking the sprg means Springfield. But have no idea on the year.

I think if you look closer it is "R-P" Remington-Peters. The .30-06 SPRG is indeed .30-06 Springfield.

I would guess it was made from 1950 to present. I think they still use that headstamp.
