NICE COIN. that far off center, must have value. E-Bay it

I never took notice the red book lists them, till you said something "Free" I looked it up in the 2004. OFF CENTER STATEHOOD QUARTERS $150.00

I think what makes them so valuable, is the odds of them getting past the inspectors these days too

I'll buy it how much do you want for it?

That just goes to show that there is still "gold" in everyday pocket change. Very nice find!!!

Too cool, I look at my change to see if any of it's off center, have never found one though.

If i remember right............

I think while at the book store last week the new coin mag. that was out was a special on nothing but misstruck coins and how to determen value on em.

that also looks like a new Hampshire state quarter. the pic is the old man of the mountain, which WAS? a state land mark. but being as the face finally let go and fell off, a couple of years ago or so. it might be worth more now cuz that land mark no longer exsist.

i grew up in new hampshire so it was kinda special(sp)

Interesting.
I found this a few weeks ago as pocket change also. It's a penny, but unfortunately the date was just missed on the strike.

according to the 2004 red book, that memorial is worth $5.00 if ZINC, $3.50 if Copper YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL, with your Detector, which it is

Definately Zink.
Thanks for the value. I added it to my collection because it was different. I like the fact that it went out of the mint like that without being noticed, and nobody else noticed it in their pocket.

I would not offer to sell any good mistrike like you found. It will just indrease in value at a rate that will suprise you. Just take it for a cruise by a local coin shop, but let them know " IT"S NOT FOR SALE" and the value will keep on growing. Good eye! Spotz
