🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Found this in woods NE IN, 1870 era farmhouse, it's copper 1/4" wide, has 2 very small holes on one end&1 on the other. Any ideas? Thanks

It looks like a decorative strip that was attached to something.

It has the late Victorian design look to it.

It has markings around each recess, someone suggested a decorative piece to hold the page of a book when it would be open , for display, like a large Bible . Not sure what they were called, thanks

Yes, not larger holes like on a strip of plumber’s strap.
