Back when I was younger (Still am young I should say) me and a few friends went camping at red river gorge and found a tree with a carving from 1880 or 1890. I just thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I found this symbol in a public park

Get a clearer photo. May be able to help you? The photo is really blurry. But most likely just a lover's heart. I always like to look around for carvings and writings. Something like that if it has anything to do with treasure is an attention getter---something to get you to look closer. Get a clearer photo it may say something.

No ! No! Say-it-isn't so ! It means treasure. (especially turtle symbols !!).

But seriously now: I remember as kids, if we explored caves , or left our graffiti carved in sandstone, etc... I'd leave graffiti that would say "John Smith was here 2/10/1887". Thinking "someone will get a jolt out of thinking an oldtimer was here". Point being, is that people have littered the landscape , for 1000's of years, with silly symbols, graffiti, art, etc... That mean nothing at all to do with treasure.

morrisons cove = smell our dairy air
I would give the symbol meaning. Go to the local convenience store and take a penny out of the penny tray on the counter. Take the penny and bury it at the base of the tree. Now the symbol means that there is treasure buried there, all the loot from a robbery. Who could deny?

Looks to me like they were trying to carve the likeness of my favorite character from Bugs Bunny, a monster called Rudolph.
