Shold I clean it up more or leave the buckle like it is?It still has alot of dirt on it. I kind of like it dirty but think it would look better clean. If you think I should clean what would be the best way to do so. And shold I put any thing on it to preseve it.

Very Nice Find, Mild Soap & Warm Water To Remove The Loose Dirt, DO NOT! Put Anything On It To Preserve It. Has Been Doing Just Fine On It's Own For 150yrs. Have You Found Any Other CW Relics ?
