Hello everyone, I found this 1946 Wheat Cent in a coin roll today as well as a steel cent, some silver dimes and many other wheats. Under closer inspection from a 200x microscope I saw a possible die crack. I just wanted to clarify. If any of you Treasure Hunters out there have any idea if this is indeed a die crack, please tell me. Thank you.

Maybe not a crack but a small shard or sliver that was sheared off when the planchet was produced. Not sure, just my 2 cents

But cents aren't silver... anyways, thanks for replying, I like that little pun you threw in there. lol!

No, no - sliver. Like a little metal shaving. I dont think it was an error caused at the mint, but rather at the metal facility. I'm not an expert though, just sharing my experiences with coins and metal working. I have one similar to that and had it looked at by many different people and had its value at aroun $1 to $3

Oh, lol, I totally read that wrong, sorry for that. A metal shaving stuck on it? Wouldn't it just come off?

Looks to me like a die error. I agree with the comment of maybe $1-3
