Found while metal detecting

I found this point at a site I've been detecting for a couple years now. I'm putting together a display case for the property owner showing the history through the items I've found. If anyone can give me some info on this point, such as probable age, it would be helpful for the display. I know it is damaged, but it'll look nice in the display.
