Any ideas on what this is
Approx. 30 feet by 15
2 feet deep
Walls too thin for a foundation.....but looks like there was an entry point

Did you find the remains of your moonshine still?

As a matter of fact ...yes ...about a mile from this one

humm not deep nuff fer a cistern I think --but who knows -- cuz if yer on a mountion top ridge homestead --its long , long walk to and from the creek at the bottom of the hill ---carrying buckets (empty down , full back up) to get daily drinking water without a drinking water catch basin (cistern) otherwize. -- cisterns were built on hill sides often to catch rain water .
