IMG_0574.webpIMG_0568.webpIMG_0570.webpIMG_0573.webpIMG_0567.webp With the hunt season coming to a close in these parts I made the most of my time this past week, doing four hunts...….one hour after work on Wednesday at the local middle school, three hours at a soccer field on Thanksgiving morning, nearly three hours with Sue on Friday at a soccer field, and two hours on Saturday after work at an old football field. Totals were 186 coins...….22 pennies, including three wheats...1949, 1951, and 1958.....4 nickels, 47 clad dimes, 109 quarters, two Dollar coins, and two silver Roosevelt dimes. The clad totaled $34.37 Additionally, I dug a small bent sterling ring.

Thanks Nick.....My share of the coins will be spent on silver. Sue's coins will be spent shopping.

Thanks Tommy...….the soccer fields and football field were the heavy hitters in this group. The middle school only gave up 13 coins. Nevertheless you're right that some schools can be loaded with coins and other things.

That is some top notch coin shooting:icon_thumleft:

Now thats a lot of digging right there ! The silvers are nice, but I always like to pull the Cub Scouts Neckerchief slides. They look great in a display case.

Thanks Trezurehunter…...over the years I've pulled a lot of those neckerchief slides from the Cub scouts and some from Boy Scouts but never made them into a display.
