Great job. Have used the same approach but not as successfully yet. Grid an area successively increasing the range from high to low. Legend rocks!

I’m learning still myself. Basically use 4 tones then only turn the volume for the last segment set to 44-60. 4 recovery speed and just go really slow. But of course location matters; the parks dept just cut down the fence blocking an unhunted area in a 120 yo park! So feel like I’m one of the first in there in a long time; eventually I’ll go back for the nickels : )

Nice finds! The ground where I am is partially frozen but is still soft where there's grass.

I usually head into the forest this time of year as the ground stays thawed longer; but yeah has been fairly mild.
