Metal Detecting
Today I hunted a baseball field that I had hunted about 2 years ago. I didn't expect much since I thought it was cleaned out, boy was I wrong! I dug out 2 silver dimes in the first 30 minutes! This park is another of the many parks in the area that is invested with gopher damage, those little critters are a metal detectorist best friends, they dig holes and bring up the deeper silver coins! Ended up with 4 silver dimes, 9 wheat pennies, and about $6.00 in clad. My hunting partner Joe has been metal detecting only 6 months, today he found his 4th mercury dime! He was a happy camper!

Dude you kill it every time you pull out that CZ. I still hunt public lands on occasion, but mostly only pull clad. Hopefully you can find another site like that construction site you were hunting. That site was amazing.

Very cool coins. I like the skeleton key

man...that spot kept you buisy.I have never had 4 silvers in same hunt !!!

I purchased my Fisher CZ6 back in 1995 and have tried a lot of other machines and none of them could preform as well. Many different brands, all were digital. I really prefer the older analog CZ's. I'm really blessed with some really productive public lands around here, most are city parks that still have silver in them. Those construction sites come around about once every 2 years on average, most are city parks or old schools than have been ripped apart by bulldozers, some have been military bases. I've had around 20 such sites over the years and have pulled out over a hundred of silver coins out of them...these type of sites have always been exciting places to swing a coil...:)

Great hunt CHF. I like my Fisher CZ 5 so much, I just purchased a 2nd one last month. ( Gotta have 2 you know in case something goes wrong with one ). No need to spend all kinds of $ on these new & improved machines. Those CZ's are a great detector.

Congratz on a great silver day!

I know! I have 4 CZ's! Still one of the best machines ever made, to bad it is no longer produced. The first one I bought was from Kellyco, the 2nd from a Fisher dealer, the 3rd & 4th from eBay!

Awesome finds and it shows you that no place is really hunted especially with new machines and settings

Cool Hand, you have done it again, what a great hunt there !!
