Detecting deep in the woods today and found four cents in one hole. Usually nothing to get excited about, but it was a 73 signal and they were 6 or 7 inches down. They were really crusty, but I thought they might be IHC's. Took them home and let them dry out for a few hours. After they dried, I managed to chip off the crud with a toothpick and my suspicion was correct! I found four green and toasted Indians! The dates are 1865, 1879, 1886 and 1887. Not a bad day!

Wow, that's cool. Nearly totaled my lifetime Indian count in a single hole!
 

I only had four for the year until I found these! I'm up to 30 IHC's now in five years of detecting. Most are pretty toasted, but I don't care. Still fun to find them in any condition.
 

Sweet Indians Keep them in your pocket they will help you find Buffolo.
