This was my first attempt at diving, and I tried to make it count! An old frame shop/gallery was clearing out (retiring) and the owner said anything they were getting rid of was up for grabs. So for almost a week I went diving sometimes 2x, 3x, even 5x a day looking through their stuff. The owners were here over 50 years and stuff...accumulated. lol

Here’s an overview, total counts pending:

-frames
-signed prints
-signed and numbered lithographs
-oil paintings
-watercolors
-ink drawings
-picture frame wire
-2 cheesy souvenir brothel tokens
-1 sterling silver Christmas charm
-embroidery
-mirrors
-banker’s chair
-printing press(?)
-autographs
-photographs

Here are some of my favorites:

Great saves! I like them too!

Thanks guys! Originally I was interested in the frames, they had 4 massive 3x4 foot frames that had nowhere to go. I must have 50 frames altogether. I’ll take pics of some of the cooler looking ones. I thought it was such a shame they were throwing away such beautiful and in some cases, historic pieces. There were newspapers, engravings, photos all dating back to the 1800s. Very excited to post more as I get to sit down and research.

I really like the works of art! Nice Job! :occasion14:

Wow what a score

That is the part that would have me interested.
