The Pictures in the frames are from The 1934 (American) OPEN POLO CHAMPIONSHIP..this maybe home made like souvenir from 1934 not 1994.Looks like 1994.

The theme is The Open Polo Championship in 1934. The material used toSo where are you getting 1934 from? It looks like the photos come from multiple different events and the program in the back looks like 1994. I'm just confused.

Hi what I learned here is this is not anything just some collage some one put together anytime after 1994. Thank YouI'm confused too. It does look like 1994. not 1934. Also, lower down, the poster says "COMING HOME TO MEADOWBROOK' with the venus as one word. The club hosted the championship in both of those years but although it was originally named "MEADOW BROOK" (as two words), it didn't contract the name to MEADOWBROOK" (as one word) until 1961.
This looks like a composite representing team or individual achievement/participation over a number of years in a number of places/tournaments. The trophy shown top centre is not that of the US Open Polo Championship and neither is it the C.V. Whitney Cup nor the USPA Gold Cup (the other major US tournaments). I don't recognise it, nor what looks like a trophy in the form of an elephant at the bottom.
If the frame is older, it is of course entirely possible that someone has re-used an old frame.
You are correct I do not know what the object is suppose to beI see the difference, thanks.

Hi please excuse my late response Thank You ....I know nothing of polo but like you noticed this looks interesting so I brought this thinking antique something ha...1974 1994 notThe guy in the yellow jersey (top left) dates from around 1974. IMO. If you’re in to polo, it’s an interesting piece. Not much polo activity in Iowa. 👍🏼
