Franklin Delano's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Today might have been the worst we've had, heatwise, humidity wise, sweat wise. Back at the silver farm, I began a search around one of the main houses, built in the 40's. Eight or nine large oaks and their shade made the decision easy, and a run of dimes made for a shorter day. No day at the farm is complete without some silver, and today it was this 59 model, shown here gazing at this lovely heart. I'm hesitant to show it to the homeowner; she's never married, but has a sister who is. Their grandparents built and lived in the house, so this piece probably belongs in the family. I'll be curious to see if it's remembered 8). A clad quarter pushed the total easily over a dollar and was joined by six or seven wheaties, including one found on the driveway by my seven year old (she's a natural ;D).

It was 20 years ago today, when Halfdime taught the band to play. Couldnt resist Halfdime, had to do it. Nice finds! Coinman66

It still blows my mind that a group that owned the world couldn't get along ???. I'm too young to remember what it was like then.

I don't get all the fuss over "Sgt. Pepper;" I think "Abbey Road" is way better.
