For a more in depth book, but it ain't free, I would suggest "Three Roads To The Alamo" by William C. Davis.

Thanks Fred. Did a quick search on Ben Proctor and it would appear that he would be using the real-deal history! So many books nowdays have a made-up history - something that tries to influence ideas, morals, etc. Looking forward to this one!
