I bought this coin a while back when I was a teenager, about 20 years ago. Always through it was cool because it has stamped on it Traverse City Michigan, my birth city. The front of the coin says "Traverse City Chapter No 102. R.A.M. traverse City, MI." In an inner circle it has stamped "chartered Jan. 16, 1878" and right in the middle it says 'one penny'. On the other side K.S.H.T.W.S.S.T in a circle. One the left of the circle is what looks like a pick/shovel/stick and on the other side is an urn.

I checked on the internet and found out that it was a coin minted by the local freemasonry 'lodge'. They gave them out for some reason. Can't remember off the top of my head why. Does anyone know what this coin is worth. I paid 5 dollars when I was 16. Just found out my australian coin set that I paid 7 bucks for is now 20 years later worth only 2 bucks.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely, Garoulady
