🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Frequently dug Relic mystery

Hello all, I find these odd little relics every now and then and I have NO idea what they are. I find them in all kinds of different sites. There’s really no correlation to it specific period that I can figure out. Some come from sites in the woods, some come from fields. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I recall seeing protector flanges that are pushed into knockout holes in electrical boxes and entrances which looked similar. The electrical wire goes through them into the box and the flanges protect the wire insulation from abrading on the sharp edge of the hole.
