I don't believe this one has been out of the larval stage for long.




Last carp I caught was July 1st,NADA since,looks like someone else hasn't caught any either they even left a glove.




Got home and Beggar was waiting for her daily ration..




nice colors in this dragonfly.

we had a few mayflies on the boat the other day chris.....the bugs are out on lake huron right now. Midges too. There biting the you know what out of us. Nice shots chris. Cheers !!

Cool Pics! I always like seeing dragon flies around because they keep the mosquitoes in check.

I like to sit in the back yard and watch those dragonflies catch mosquitoes. It's amazing how precise they are at picking them off in midair.
