Thanks. Very happy with the bird point. That field hasn't been deep plowed for a couple of years due to no-till planting. Excited to see what turns up when it's finally plowed again.

Same here for the last few years now. Nothing but in the way, but the upside of it is less chance of damage on some of those pieces that are on down there. They will have to turn the dirt hear eventually , hopefully pretty soon but it is looking like it is not gonna be this year. Looks like you should do pretty well when they turn the dirt down your way.

Good finds and cotton fields are tough to hunt once the plant gets over 6in tall due to the heat that the plant puts out, plus just summer heat. Be real careful in a cotton field after it gets above your knees, the heat will take you out.

I may get one or two more hunts in on that field this year. In about two weeks the cotton will be too tall, and it's already too dang hot.
