Friday's Few Hours and a Couple of Buttons!
Hello everyone,
Buckle Boy and I got out for a few hours on Friday to one of my early 1800s sites here in Southern Indiana. We hit another site on our way and I found a shotgun shell base, a rifle shell, the inside workings of a door lock, and a couple of pieces of a broken harmonica. When we got to the early 1800s site Buckle Boy started my finding a nice colonial flat button and a brass lever sor a drawer(?) in the same hole! After another hour or so of detecting we had found 5 colonial flat buttons and a few other odds and ends, but no coins
. By this time it was starting to get dark and we had a bit of a walk to get back, so we had to leave. One of the buttons I found was made of pewter(?) and had a star embossed in it and had "LONDON" on the back. Well, thats my finds for now. Take care and HH!
