Friday while out with my friend Red I found my best coins to date. I found 2 Standing Liberty Dimes 15" apart and 7" deep :laughing9:

They must have got tired waiting for you & Sat Down !

Awsome Coins !

Hiya Goldie..
see ya finally made the move to Pa. Good for you. Now you gotta wait for the thaw... :coffee2: Hope to meet you maybe this year. Im sure I'll get a day off work sooner or later.

Hey Rip
Good to see your up and about. What happened to Butler's web site? I looked for it a couple months back and it didnt exist anymore. Haven't made it to the meetings as you may have noticed. Work kinda got in the way. Guess my dues went to a worthy cause.

Things are slowing down at work. Unfortunately, the ground is like a rock right now and daylight is a premium. The mill closed a department and consolidated production to one main department. That just happens to be the department I'm in all the time. When they aren't making steel they have us in there...which is usually weekends and holidays and nights and....we're on call 24/7 for emergencies. Plus we're on stand-by during the week for stupid stuff during our normal 40 hours.
I'm definately taking a detecting vacation or 2 this year. Probably only got out a dozen times or so last year and not all hunts produced anything.
I just need someone to prod me along.

You guys stay warm.
Al

Very nice ladies there Rip!! :icon_thumright:

Hi Al,

Re the Butler Club,

We let the web page go, they are looking for another simpler web page instead. Joe Guerre is the new president, I am now the secretary.
We need to get out at some point, I would enjoy that.

Thanks Brian and all!!

Great finds, my oldest to date is 1876 seated liberty. congrats!

It was really neat to find two 15" apart.
