Fridays Outing--It's not all bad.
My finds for Friday the 13th--Boo!
Found all these in a wooded area aside a path that led down to a small stream--It had some traffic over the years.
Some toasted wheats from the 40's and 50's.
Old shaker top--salt maybe?
Old buckle face or compact--hard to tell.
Some spent ammo casings and some modern clad.
A religious pin --maybe a copper alloy. It rang where an injun head would--so I dug at it.
The 1908-D barber was a sweet find in about 3-4 inches of peat/humusy earth that was laced with tiny roots.
A quick cutting with the Lesche freed her, and the pinpointer was absolulutely required in that type of stuff.
If I said I didn't get a good workout--I would be lying.
