Friend's dream box

Thought I'd post this "dream box" incident my friend in Florida got this week. Let's you all know that there are still corporate "dream boxes" out there. He called to let me know that when he took his wife to the doctor, he stopped at a Sun Trust bank in central Florida just north of Orlando. They had one box of halves, so he took $200 worth. While checking them in his car while his wife was at the doctor, he came across a few 40%ers in almost each roll. He got a total of 51 out of the $200. Anyway, when he called to tell me, I said, "Get your butt back there tomorrow and get the rest". The next day he went back and got the other $300 and got another (98) 40%ers, (1) WLH, (2) Bens and (5) Kennedy 64's. All total, (159) 40%ers and (8) 90%ers. Let's all congratulate "HOTEL" (code name) for his excellent find. Shows there are still "dream boxes" out there.

sounds like a box that had been in the bank a while. like maybe somebody ordered it a few years ago and never came back to get it. i say that because 2 years ago when i started ordering boxes it was not uncommon to get one of those out of a 10 box order. today it is next to unheard of to get one box so concentrated. anyway just my take on it. i am sure others will have other theories. i am happy for the guy that got it though.

Yeah--I would have given that same advice to"hotel!"

very nice but i get amazed how the box contains some of each of the main 4 halves but yet the 90%s are so weak in quantity, like i don't get how the box can only contain 1 walker, it is like how did only 1 get there?

Yeah, I know that's interesting. But another CRHer I know got just one walker out of a box two weeks ago. You never know. The next box that company rolled up could have the rest of a roll. Or, someone just only had a few old coins and put them in a machine at the bank. Anyway, he got 2 Ben's as well and a few 1964 Kennedy's
