I bring you this little beauty. An intact, silver plated WW2 US Army Air Corps Pilot's Sweetheart pin! It was about two inches down and rang up like the usual Lincoln clad cent. What a surprise and the mystery is this, both pins were closed and locked when found, so it must have been removed and thrown (oh no!) Or, fallen out of a pocket. Thanks for peeking, this "sweetheart" will go nicely with the set of sterling WW2 USAAC Pilot's wings I found earlier this year! Cheers and happy hunting. Sub 8-)

My dad was in the Korean War and when he had a couple to many he would play a song that went “ I wanted my wings now I got the god damn things now I don’t want them anymore” it was fun
