After a 'painfully hot summer', it finally began to cool somewhat, so off to the country i went.
I went along a local river where the buffalo, Elk, Deer, & wild mustangs used to come to water, the banks are worn down several feet over thousands of years.
Now the cattle & deer & wild hogs use the trails.
I saw cattle, cottonmouth snake, turtles, giant tree roots, flowers, Indian flint, etc......, had a very peaceful day out, (I needed one). ;D

We can only hope the 'worst is over', the snake didn't want to pose for long.
I drive through one lane roads, with the bushes scratching my truck to get back in this place, the eagles like to winter here because it's so secluded, & that's the reason I like it also.

Thanks, there wasn't much water where it was traveling, :-[ when the 'old Timers' were plowing these bottomlands, they told storeys of finding imprints of skeletons, & hooking clay pots with their plows, now days it's very hard to find them with all the grass & vegetation.

Hello Fossis that is a good looking place, I have been in some of those places all of the problems
just go away, that is what we are supposed to enjoy on our day's off. we are going to have
to get out as soon as the ground gets softer.

That's true, we need some soaking rain to soften up the ground, (then detecting we will go). :laughing7:
