From Californication

Hello all. New to this forum. From Wisconsin originally. Like to metal detect, hunt for artifacts, hunt for food, hiking, dry fly fishing, and just general exploring.
And of course, riding my Shovelhead.
Found these recently, and am pretty sure they are from a local tribe that was once in the area. Several Metates near by. Try to figure out how to load them, and any ideas as to use of these stones, would be appreciated. Thanks
