From Whidbey Island Washington

New member from Whidbey Island. I just ordered my first metal detector. It is supposed to show up on 8-30-2019. Really looking forward to taking my sons out and finding some cool stuff. We are into gold prospecting also. I bought a lower end detector to start with. Didnt want to shell out too much until I got it down good. Also have to keep it under the radar for the wife. I bought a Garrett ACE 200. I mainly joined this group to learn the laws of the land, good places to hunt on the island without getting into trouble, and maybe meet others into the game.
