Ft Ancient Finds From Hunt With Paleojoe

Joe's already posted his finds and these are what I found on our hunt. Joe was kicking my butt early as he found two Drilled Teeth, a Turkey Bone Awl, and a Deer Antler Arrowpoint in the first hour we were there. I finally got it going and ended up finding a really nice Bone Needle with a very sharp tip, 4 Bones Beads, a Marginella Shell Bead, 2 Teeth with grooves for suspension, a Splinter Bone Awl, 3 decent Triangle Points, and 2 broken Points.

Here's some pictures. First picture is the best finds. The next pictures show the Grooved Teeth. The last one is one of the smallest ones I have ever found.

That bone needle is ready to go today. Love them teeth. What is meant by suspended? As in from a necklace? Very nice group of finds. It just goes to show, don't just have your mind set on finding points, as there is much else to spot.

Thanks BW. Suspended means just like you said. These were more than likely put on a necklace, but they also good have been used as dangles on clothing as well.
