Fort Ancient hunt on Monday.

I got to go out for a hunt yesterday with Dorkfish.Usually he can whip me. I think I did pretty good keeping up with him. I found a real nice turkey bone awl. Has real nice polish on it.Next Picture is of a nice deer antler arrowhead.It is drilled real deep,& is notched on the sides. Next is a pic of the 2 nice drilled teeth that I found. Last picture is the teeth, a splinter bone awl, & a nice serrated triangle with the tip gone. I was very happy with my finds. Dork also had a real good day. I am sure he will be posting soon. WTG those are some fantastic artifacts. I didnt know they used antler for points. Of coarse theres alot I dont know about artifacts but I love looking and learning, thanks... JYD...

Yeah, Joe was kicking my butt early in the hunt, but I found a few killers myself after he left. Between the two of us we found four teeth that were used for Necklace pieces. Joe found the two really nice Drilled Teeth and I found two nice teeth with grooves around them for suspension.

Nice finds buddy. That Awl cleaned up real well and those two teeth are great. That little one sure has a big hole in it for such a small tooth.
