Well, that makes at least two of us who are confused. I don't see where anything I said meant that I had a "beef". Not too surprising though, as I already know that I've evidently lost the art of the written word. It's the only thing that explains how things come back to me from what I think I said.

All I was asking is what he meant in his video, (you did watch it?). He said that he had watched a couple other detectorists vids on the tube and "figured out where they were hunting". Next thing he said was that he was hunting their spot and doing a much better job. I was just curious about the situation. Heck! For all I know they are, all3, friends and just playing oneupmanship.
I don't intentionally seek out a spot that someone else has figured out, even if it happens to be in a public park. But, that's just me. I know I can find wherever I go. I also would cast my lure next to someone else's if they were catching fish. I'm not the type to line up hip boot to hip boot trying to catch a fish. I also wouldn't hunt in front of someone hunting in the water just because they're there and I want first crack. But, again, that's just me.
I have no problem with tidetraveler and have complemented him on his vids before.
Maybe, it would be best if I just sat in my corner and stayed quiet.
