I hit a Rev War battle site -
I could have hit this spot like 20 yrs ago but kept putting it off = stupid
- 2hrs+ away and I always seemed to have others stuff going on
lots of good artifacts found by many others over those yrs from here - so I knew Id be tryin to find left overs
saw holes here and there - some from the Fall - some more recent --place was loaded with hot rocks that drove me crazy
found nothing that looked or I could stand by as period - was going to head out and found small piece of 1700s shoe buckle
and decided to stick it out a bit longer - didnt get much - but got some musketballs that I can attribute to the battle site
found a bent up piece of metal - thought it was slaw - un bent it - was tougher than aluminum - and it was tarnished
its a silver button - don't know if its period though - no marks
