Great day out looking for fur trade era stuff. 8 musket balls, 2 iron knives, 4 big tinklers, 1 small bit of serpent side plate, 1 holed thimble, a kettle lug, 2 stone arrowheads (one really small), 3 brass rings, 1 button, a marked ram rod holder, and a 1838 half dime.
Also found a little bit of copper (two small awls).

Very Nice work, thank you for sharing with us! I always enjoy looking at your finds.

Can we see the obverse of the 1838 half dime please? Great finds, still looking for a site that old.

I love those Fur Trade relics A. Grignon. I am always envious of you fellers in the Wisconsin area, mainly because you can hunt for Fur Trade and Old Copper Culture relics in the same general area.

I would also like to see the obverse of that 1838 half dime.

Kyle

Obverse of half dime.

Not in the best shape, but still good detail.
