Got a used Gamma 6000, so decided to check it out this evening at my "worked out" school in the neighborhood. I think I am the one that got a workout. This thing is DEEP and loves rusty iron and bottle caps. Not many coins, but I am not complaining. Did find one silver dime, a Va State Seal Button and a broken skull ring. Not bad for a "worked out" school.:icon_thumleft: I think I am going to like it!!

I just bought one of these and yes, iron gives a high tone like a coin. The difference seems to be that the iron targets jump all around on the display. The coins are a solid on the display. Anything ferrous and round or with a hole will sound like a coin, but displays different depending on the direction of the sweep. Nice dime!

Nice 51 Rosie find and congrats - thanks for sharing your picture & story with us & I wish you many more great finds while out dirt fishing.
