I'm very happy with my gamma. It is a great all around metal detector. I'm using the 13" ultimate on it and I'm loving it. I'm using today in my backyard (which is just full of trash) trying to see how it reacts in a place that a smaller coil should be used. I do love how deep it goes. I'm sure we are on the bottom end of the detector spectrum but until I use something better there will always be a gamma in my arsenal. HH

PS GREAT price on your gamma, can't beat that!!

I feel that the 6000 is way under rated and is a well kept secret. I am impressed with the depth although I only run the stock 8" coil. The single 9volt battery and how long it lasts. It's light weight is also a real plus. Certainly a keeper for me.

Exactly Dak. It's hard to find many videos on YouTube about it, a lot more about the omega. I have ZERO complaints on my Gamma and that speaks volumes to me. HH

I run an Omega/G2,but some say the Gamma is just as deep/good...i don`t know, i would like to see a side by side in the field.
I`v tried them all and the Tek line is superior for my needs/hunts i also have a T2.
