I’ve been told the field I hunt had a lot of CW training and post war gatherings on it. Today I swept a new part and scored this toasty GAR Medal “Grand Army of the Republic”. It’s toasty... but definitely a bucket lister for me! I also got a toasted 1847 LC, wheats and some other misc bits and so on. I don’t know how rare these are, but definitely a cool piece of history! Was 10” deep and the NOX800 rang up 23 solid! GL and HH! G.A.R. are always great finds. Congrats on that one.

Nice relic there. I dug a pretty nice one a few years ago.

Thanks guys. Wish it wasn’t so toasty. I take what I can get though!
