garage sale 25 oz. silver bar

yes about 30 years ago my daughter bought a large recipe box with those large index cards with recipe card in it and a few weeks later she was going through it and in the bottom was a silver bar marked.25 oz 999 fine took it to two different jewelry stores and yes it was silver 999 fine and 25 oz she sold it and got a good price for it only paid five dollars for it.

Is that .25oz (1/4 th oz) or 25oz (more than 2 pounds)? If the 2 pounder, hope she got around $250 for it.
