Garbage picked silver! (with pics)
I have a few rental properties, A lot of times when tenants move out they leave stuff behind. I recently sold 5 Crown Royal bags on Ebay, that were left behind by a tenant.
In August a different tenant moved out. They left a few things in the attic, but most was in trash cans along side the house. The day before trash garbage day I went over to take out the trash. I looked in one can and saw a Crown Royal Bag. I reached in to pick it out and as I was picking it up the bag jingled. I could tell there were coins in it.
When I got home I checked out the coins. I ended up with $2.23 U.S clad and $1.88 Canadian. (Chase bank will trade Canadian for US at equal value) and $.25 in U.S.silver (1953)
