garden finds. one large cent , one half cent , and fifty cents

i was tilling my garden and found these. i found the fifty cent along while back under a tree. do you thank i could buy a coke on a hot day with them i wonder when these went out

That's the coolest thing about coins, there's not usually any guess work as to when it was made or in circulation. It sure would be cool if everything we found had a date on it! Those are pretty neat.

I found a bunch of similar ones, plastic tokens,
but mine were for milk products and returns etc.
Mine found in a bottle dump and were from the late 40's early 50's.

Maybe you have a dump around there or something??
