GARRETT ADS 7X WITH CROSSFIRE COILS...........

.....I guess that Garrett did not make a lot of the ADS 7X or was it called the ADS 10X that uses the Crossfire coils..(the 10X was the Kellyco version equiped with the 10 inch Hot Head Coil..)...most of the ADS 7's that I see use the old co-planar coils......the Crossfire Coils add a few more inches to the depth of this detector.......Joe

Hi, i have a Garrett 7x for service as the wires of coil chassis connector have been cutted off, can any of you provide images of the pcb board and details to fix it?. thanks for your help....

Have you contacted Garrett? They're a good company. Though I'm thinking they wouldn't want their schematics out there, but they might re-wire / repair it for you. It's worth a shot.

....I have sent them an email requesting info but nothing back yet. I have found many schematics but not for the specific 7x, i could do a reverse schematic easily, but it doesn't worth the service cost. all these old models (over 20 years old) should have their service manual pdf free online. just looking for a 7x owner that could take some images and give me details. well, who knows, might get an answer....

Have you tried contacting Kellyco, I heard they have ll the mad scientist.
