The AT coil covers crack very easily if not carefully removed without flexing them when taking off, both the 5x8 and 8.5x11. More trouble and wasted time messing around with them than they are worth in my opinion. When the coils are new and at the end of the season (winter) I just coat the underside coil surface with a good layer of some 2 part Gorilla epoxy (any stronger/non-metallic marine epoxy will work). No messing around with taking the coil off and getting sand/etc out from under a coil cover all the time.
