My At Pro has been acting up lately, now it's totally unstable. Of course it's a couple of month's over warranty. SO I call Garrett to see about getting it fixed and they tell me they will cover it under warranty. That's what I call service.

Will let you know how it works out

whats it doing ?

At Pro

whats it doing ?
Once you turn it on it gives continuance of false signals, so bad even good signals won't register

sounds like emi. Does it do it everywhere ? check your coil cable that its wrapped properly. Plugged in properly ?

Even does it with the coil removed. I know it's not EMI, because it does it everywhere

sounds like it needs a trip to garrett

I thought the AT Pro's were sick all the time.:laughing7: I was going to suggest to turn off your cell phone, but with out a coil that's not it.

Yeah so far haven't found a machine that can challenge the AT PRO. It's pure depth is awesome

I thought same thing, loved my ATP and still do but I found something that made my ATP look sick and that is my Nokta fors gold which is superior in every way except being waterproof.

My AT Pro did the same thing. I took it into the dealer and they sent it back for repair.
When returned I asked what went wrong with it and it ruined and expensive outing.
There where no comments so I traded it off and it was new and popular at the time.
Now my Gold Bug is doing the same thing the constant falseing like a machine gun.
Not all the time just often enough to ruin your day out.
Any one know what is causing this ????

I loved the little bugger but it is unreliable.
