Garrett coil question

Have a 10x14 mono coil that I notice that has stopped working. Did an air test and nothing. It will pick up larger object but nothing on a penny. I have the Infinium LS. Have other coils and the air test shows that they are all working. Can a coil be repaired thru Garrett or is better off just buying a new one.

Call Garrett. Most of the time they will replace it for free without even sending the old one in.

Repairing is generally not an option as the windings are encased in a rock solid conductive resign. The only items that can be repaired are the cable conections at the plug.

I am suspecting the plug in connector is the culprit. Or down in the cable somewhere.
